Ford Fiesta Classic Titanium Review

The Ford Fiesta Classic has been in the Indian market for donkey years now and when the new Fiesta was launched last year, this one got renamed to Classic and its price tag dropped significantly. At one point of time, the diesel version used to sell for Rs 8 lac and the same can now be had for under Rs 7 lac (ex-showroom). The good part is that the Fiesta Classic is still seen as a mid-size sedan and not an entry level one – the reason why it is still selling in decent numbers.
Trying to further improve on this solid product, Ford this week launched a new top end variant, called the Fiesta Classic Titanium – it comes loaded to the brim with goodies, some of which are not seen on other cars in the same price band. So, does the new Classic Titanium make sense? We find out!

The overall design language remains untouched though a new color option and alloy wheels certainly add richness to the way the Fiesta  Classic Titanium looks. Changes have also been done to the inside – it now gets an  all-new beige interior trim lends a refreshed, light and airy feeling to the cabin, giving it a luxurious feel. Other new features on the Fiesta Classic Titanium include:
1. First car in its segment to get a stereo system equipped with Bluetooth that combines the convenience of connectivity with the safety of hands free operation
2. Speed sensing volume controls ensure that you don’t have to keep adjusting the volume as the vehicle’s speed changes. The Classic Titanium adjusts the volume of the stereo system on its own
3. Drive-away locks provide an added level of safety for your near and dear ones with the doors left open locking automatically when the vehicle starts moving
4. The new Classic Titanium’s all new alloy wheel design enhances the vehicle’s stance and gives its better on-road handling dynamics
5. Body-coloured ORVMs and new black front grille lend it a contemporary and stylish look

The car  is available in 6 exciting new colors- Paprika Red, Panther Black, Diamond White, Chill Metallic, Moon Dust Silver and Sea Grey, the new variant comes covered with Ford Classic’s comprehensive 2 year / 100,000 km warranty, offering a low cost of ownership and peace of mind to its customers.
As for the new Fiesta Classic Titanium prices, the petrol version is available for Rs 6.86 lac and the diesel for Rs 7.82 lac, both prices ex-showroom, New Delhi. At these prices, a mid-size sedan with features, both functional and safety ones, the Titanium Classic does make solid sense!
